From Father Z's Blog;
Biretta tip to Patrick Madrid, who also flies a lot. Delta (with which I am … never mind…) has a new app for the iPhone that tracks your checked luggage. I have used it, as a matter of fact, recently. I had a flight delay that caused me to miss a connection. The app tracked my bag, as advertised!
To advertise their app Delta has a video of where your bag goes, from the time it disappears behind the rubber flaps until you pick it up. They made a case with 6 cameras and sent it from Atlanta to La Guardia in NYC.

The ongoing budget problems in California have left the State Capital broke, leaving one wondering who is responsible for the damage.
"Who Broke It" #10
The tenth installment of the "Who Broke It" series is Chef Skinner's car in "Ratatouille" after Remy escaped to Gusteou's.
"Who Broke It" #9
There isn't much of a story here. We just found this car in a parking lot, and the window appeared to be smashed out.
"Who Broke It" #8
Once again, we know the answer! This is the scene from the Pixar film "Cars" where the Chick pushes "The King" off the track.

Cupcake deemed "security threat" confiscated by TSA
Finally, a post about something other than the "Who Broke It" Series. What follows is a story I found on the blog SANCTE PATER.
"(WCVB) BOSTON -- A Peabody woman says a cupcake she tried to take on a flight with her sparked a potential security threat this week.
Rebecca Hains says she was going through security at the airport in Las Vegas when a TSA agent pulled her aside and said the cupcake frosting was “gel-like” enough to constitute a security risk.
She said she was able to pass through Logan International Airport security with two cupcakes, but she was stopped on the way back when she tried to return with one of them."In general, cakes and pies are allowed in carry-on luggage," said TSA spokesperson James Fotenos, adding they were looking into why this cupcake was confiscated.
Hains said she had received the cupcakes as a gift and after eating one on the trip out west, decided to save the other for the flight back.Hains contacted the cupcake company, Wicked Good Cupcakes of Cohasset, which said it will ship her a new batch free of charge.
“Apparently we're a tasty, terrorist threat. I guess we were also amazed at what can pass through security in one airport, but not in another,” said Brian Vilagie of Wicked Good Cupcakes."

"Who Broke It" #7
I forgot the entire story here, but somewhere in the northeast bay area last year, a part of the road collapsed, taking a car with it.
"Who Broke It" #6
This one if from The Simpsons episode "Skinner's Sense of Snow". Ned Flanders' car is quite beaten up after rescuing the kids from the school when it was snowed
in.

"Who broke it?" series coming soon
Coming soon is a series of pictures of broken things (usually cars or other vehicles, but other broken objects are also seen), and photoshopped in is a young child with an animated speech cloud reading "Who Broke It?. It all started out two years ago when one young child we know asked who broke a non-operational car that sat in our carport for some time. Since then, I now have some 45 variations (and counting), which I will be posting here. Over the next month i will post existing pictures of this series, and will post new ones as they are created.
